Visa, Travel & Accommodation
Visa
For non-Russian travellers it is compulsory to obtain a visa before entering Russia. We advise to apply for a tourist visa as this is the simplest way and entirely sufficient. Please consult your local Consulate for details.
Travel by Air
There are three international airports in and around Moscow:
Sheremetyevo 2 is located in the north of the city and can be reached by taxi in approximately 45 minutes.

Domodedovo Airport is about 22 km south the city and a taxi ride into town takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Vnukovo Airport is located 10km south-west of Moscow and is mainly served by the German operator Germanwings. The taxi will take about 60 minutes to the city centre.

Please note: The taxi travel times from the airport to the city centre and back can vary hugely, due to the amount of car traffic in Moscow City. We always recommend checking with your hotel or your travel company about transfer times. Airport transfers by car should be arranged in advance.
Travel by Train
A large number of international and domestic trains terminate in Moscow. All major train stations are connected to the Metro network. For train timetables and ticket sales please click here.
Travel Agency
The details of our officially appointed travel agency will be confirmed later. The agency will be able to assist you with visa support, hotel bookings, airport transfers and other travel requirements.
