Welcome to Exporail 2010

Exporail is a successfully established series of trade exhibitions for the rail sector in Russia. Its inception in 2006 was the response to the exceptional development plans by the RZD Russian Railways Company, which intends to significantly improve Russia’s railway links on a large scale.

Strong support from RZD Russian Railways

The support of RZD Russian Railways is a key factor to the success of Exporail and the organisers enjoy a strong relationship with the organisation. At Exporail 2009, representatives of RZD attended the Opening Ceremony and the following tour of the show, taking time to talk to individual exhibitors.

According to V.Yakunin, President of RZD Russian Railways, the exhibition «... has been an effective basis for closer relations between railway technology suppliers and consumers».

Exporail has developed into a marketplace where the focus is on technological know-how and expertise for the rail industry presented by domestic and international companies.

Growing exhibition

Now in its fourth year, Exporail has steadily gained in both exhibitor and visitor figures. Compared to the previous edition, Exporail 2009 has added 18% of visitors and 20% of exhibitors.
